"Decide To Be The One Who Initiates Peace And Love."

Be ready to discover growth in all your relationships.

Be ready to discover growth in all your relationships.
Love is not simply an emotion; it is an active choice one makes. Sometimes we all need encouragement since we don't see how we are treating others. But quite obviously, without a certain degree of love or respect, having a productive relationship can be an uphill battle. In general, women in marriage strive for love, while men have a great need for respect.
Forgiveness is a central theme in the Christian faith and is essential to all healthy friendships and lasting relationships (not just marriage or dating). It involves letting go of anger and resentment towards oneself or others. Forgiveness can be a difficult process, but it can also be very liberating, bringing peace to others and yourself.
There will always be conflicts between one another; it's just our sinful nature that brings out the worst in us at times. James 1:19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry,
Since we all know conflicts happen to all of us, the important thing is to resolve differences peacefully when possible (Romans 12:18), which often requires one person to initiate peace. Are you a peacemaker, or one who holds grudges and resentments?

As you look through our website, you will see that encouragement for relationships is your responsibility. As it says in Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
From the time we were born until the Lord takes us home, we will be in relationships in one form or another. Try to learn as much as you can, and apply it to your life. God wired us for relationships; sometimes we need to learn from others with more understanding, and also from our own mistakes too.
